Thank you so much to those of you who pm’d me to let me know you disagreed with my counsel to the reader who is pondering a divorce from a cheating husband. I was trying to present a balanced approach and encourage the reader to consider all the ramifications before making a decision.
I should have taken a stronger stand. Sure, God hates divorce, particularly when it comes to splitting up over stupid stuff. But God also hates betrayal, the breaking of sacred vows, and the risk of sexually transmitted disease. Dear reader, please hear from me (and from your fellow readers who felt I was too easy on your husband) – you are not bound spiritually or in any other way to this man. He has broken his vow to you and shows no sign of repentance.
I’m praying for you. I know you face even harder times as you move forward. I’m grateful for readers who are not afraid to set me straight.
Love,
Gigi
