Welcome to Advent — It’s Hope Week!

Remember waiting for Christmas in eager anticipation? Making a gift list, writing a letter to Santa, secretly looking for hidden presents, shaking the boxes under the tree, trying to stay[…]

Gratitude: the secret to having it all is knowing you already do

Are you missing family this week? None of my family – from my brothers and their children to Flyboy and I and our children – are getting together this year.  It’s[…]

“You don’t stop laughing when you grow old, you grow old when you stop laughing.”

(This is second half of a two-part post. Click here for part one.) …and so I stepped up to the coffee table. “We can do this,” I said.  “Hang on,”[…]

I’m in my third trimester, on the fast track to eternal life, and for the remainder of my time here, I want to hear from, commune with, rest in, and follow Jesus like never before. After a lifetime of being a people pleaser, I’m finally (big sigh of relief) happy in my own skin, content to be me, and thankful for every day of life God blesses me until the end of my days. After a decade of battling with the reality of getting older, I’m happy being where I am today and filled with gratitude for the blessings of life. Every single day.

Do you, too, want to finish well? Do you want the days ahead to be the most meaningful of your entire life? Join me on a journey where the end is not the end; it’s all leading up to the the birthing into newness of life that will never, ever end.

Send me an email anytime. I’d love to hear from you: gigi.seriouslygirl@gmail.com
